Weekend Vibes…

Yesterday, I’m sure like some of you, I was walking round with a heavy heart following the the EU referendum results. It’s not that I don’t believe in democracy, I do… the results are the results, and we are so lucky to live in a country that takes our vote seriously, but I’m just nervous about what the future may hold because I just couldn’t believe ‘in Leave’. We have to live with our democracy now, try and stay together and stay strong. So in this world changing environment, I’m trying to make some wonderful weekend plans and here’s what I am up to…

Yesterday I went toย The House Fair at Olympia, London (it’s still on today of you can pop byย and I would highly recommend!) I think I said that I won tickets and for a wannabe interior stylist like me it was such a magicย day! It really made me realise why I have such a passion for this industry! I’m really looking forward to editing my photos, and sharing my day with you on the blog next week! I’ve also got to find a home for a couple of new purchases that I picked up (oops!)

I’m hoping to go on a little Cotswold jaunt over the weekend with hubs, I have two more weekends with him, one of them my birthday weekend (yay!) until he goes back to work in Norway. I really want to purchase some faux blooms and they have an OKA in Broadway which has some of the best faux blooms I’ve ever seen!

Finally we have a wedding reception of a lovely friend to attend this evening. The reception is at Hilles House which is where Isabella Blow used to live. Whether we are able to go in and take a look at the Arts & Crafts movement interiors I’m not sure but there is the most stunning views of the Cotswolds and the grounds are just beautiful. I can’t wait to celebration a lovely friend’s special day.

Cheers to the weekend hey!
